Clinical Nutrition

The department includes a selection of clinical nutritionists experienced in dealing with cardiac patients.

The department provides its services to the cardiac patients at the center daily, through a daily follow-up to medical instructions, and assessment of the appropriate nutritional status of the patient.

The department’s services include:

  • Daily and periodic follow-up of the patient and calculating the appropriate calories
  • Defining the appropriate food plan for the patient, in cooperation with the medical team
  • Education of the patients about healthy nutrition
