Training and Continuous Medical Education

The administration of the Saud Al-Babtain Center for Cardiac Medicine and Surgery firmly believes that education is the foundation of a strong institution. This is through providing an efficient and effective development education program for employees and training all our health care providers, enabling us to achieve the highest level of care.

The Center held several different courses accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for the year 2019. We also obtained the accreditation of the American Heart Association (AHA) to conduct basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses for adults and pediatrics. During the course of 2019, more than 600 trainees were trained in CPR programs and about 2500 trainees for various courses.

The Department of Training and Continuing Medical Education, with the support and encouragement of the center’s administration, is committed to achieving and providing the highest quality patient care through education and training for our employees and other health practitioners.

For health practitioners: We are pleased to offer you our approved courses to update your knowledge and gain confidence to help you succeed.

For non-health practitioners: In order for us to spread awareness of cardiac resuscitation in the community, we are pleased to offer you cardiac resuscitation sessions.
